  Bogeyman \Bo"gey*man\, n.; pl. {Bogeymen}.
     A goblin; a bugbear; a {bogey[1]}. This is the form used by
     parents to frighten children; as, if you don't eat your
     vegetables, the bogeyman will get you.
  
     Syn: bogey.
