     (bl[i^][ng]kt); p. pr. & vb. n. {Blinking}.] [OE. blenken;
     akin to dan. blinke, Sw. blinka, G. blinken to shine, glance,
     wink, twinkle, D. blinken to shine; and prob. to D. blikken
     to glance, twinkle, G. blicken to look, glance, AS.
