  Bladderwort \Blad"der*wort`\, n. (Bot.)
     A genus ({Utricularia}) of aquatic or marshy plants, which
     usually bear numerous vesicles in the divisions of the
     leaves. These serve as traps for minute animals. See
     {Ascidium}.
